Uganda Village Project (UVP) was mentioned in a recent article about obstetric fistula in Uganda. There are approximately 140,000 to 200,000 women living with fistula in Uganda. This devastating childbirth injury can be fixed--and UVP is working to do just that. We send women to fistula repair camps run by the Uganda Childbirth Injury Fund three times a year.
