Nawankwale Well Commissioning Ceremony

The Nawankwale community, in conjunction with UVP and the local DHO, has finished building UVP's 25th Shallow well! The construction was finished at the beginning of March and the well was commissioned on March 10th. The completion of this well was very exciting because this community had to dig through a very large boulder during the construction process. They worked tirelessly and were able to overcome that unfortunate obstacle! Our In-Country Programme Manager, Kristen, has sent us these pictures of the commissioning ceremony:
